Terms & Conditions

Bookings & Cancellations
The booking for the IsThereHop? workshop is binding. In case of cancellation from the workshop two weeks before the workshop starts, we charge 100% of the workshop costs. The same applies to single bookings of parties or the Party Pass.

If you want to resell your booking, we advise you to do it through us to prevent fraud. Please contact us at help@istherehop.ch.

Payment
Payment is always handled through our booking tool Events Office. In case of booking problems and exceptionally, a manual booking of the participating person can be done by our administration. Contact us for this via help@istherehop.ch. As soon as the owed amount of the workshop or party has been transferred to our bank account, we will book you manually. Please note that in this case you are not guaranteed a place until we receive your payment.

Illness & Accident
In case of illness or accident, the workshop costs will be refunded in full or, if it occurs during the workshop, in part, upon presentation or sending in of a doctor’s certificate to help@istherehop.ch.

Absences
Absences are the responsibility of the participants and have no influence on the workshop costs. We thank you for informing us about your voluntary absences. Accordingly, we will try to organize substitute leaders or followers.

Discounts
Students have a discount on workshops and parties with a valid student card. A valid student ID is the legitimation card of a university or university of applied sciences recognized in Switzerland (e.g. Zurich University of the Arts, University of Zurich, ETH Zurich, Zurich University of Applied Sciences, etc.), as well as international student IDs.

Have us verify your Legi by uploading it to your profile in Events Office and wait for our confirmation (usually within a few hours).

Alternatively or in combination you can also apply as a volunteer and get a 50% discount.

Exclusion from Workshop or Party
We reserve the right to immediately exclude you from a workshop or party if you violate the Code of Conduct, otherwise disrupt the workshop or party, or make yourself liable to prosecution. No refunds will be given in this case.
