A Night out in Harlem
For our Friday party, we’re excited to transport you back a hundred years to Harmlem during the roaring twenties. This theme is inspired by the Jazz Age, when swing dancing and hidden bars known as speakeasies were all the rage. You’ll feel like you’re in a cozy underground club with dim lighting, exposed brick walls, and vintage props like posters, lanterns, and feathers.
Step back into the glamorous era of the 1920s with chic attire! Embrace the flapper style with a dazzling dress adorned with intricate beading or fringe, complemented by a feather boa and a stylish cloche hat. For a dapper look, opt for a three-piece suit paired with suspenders and a fedora, finished off with classic oxfords and a pocket square.
Accessorize your ensemble with vintage-inspired touches like a pocket watch, a cigarette holder, or a flask for an authentic feel. Gear up and get ready to race into a world of whimsy and wonder at the “Rainbow Road” Lindy Hop Party! Inspired by the iconic Mario Kart track and the colorful nostalgia of early nineties video games, this soirée promises a night of playful fun and retro flair.
Get ready to channel your inner Mario or Luigi as you hit the dance floor, where swing music fills the air and dancers twirl and whirl as if they’ve hit a banana peel. Whether you’re a seasoned Lindy Hopper or a novice, there’s a sense of excitement and adventure as you navigate the twists and turns of the dance floor.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Test your skills at our interactive gaming station, where you can challenge friends to a real race of Mario Kart on our N64.
But beware of the occasional banana peel or rogue turtle shell – just like in the game, surprises may lurk around every corner! So grab a mushroom power-up cocktail from the bar, fuel up with some pixel-perfect snacks, and get ready to embark on a journey through the vibrant world of “Rainbow Road.”

Dress to impress
We cordially invite you to contribute to the overall atmosphere of our parties and themes by dressing up. How dressy you like to come is entirely dependant on how comfortable you feel. The themes of the parties are your main hint when figuring out how to have fun with your outfit and we encourage you to get a little creative.

If you don’t already own some dressy clothes, here are some ideas of shops that might have what you need.
